So goujons is just a fancy way of saying fish fingers. This dish is perfect if you’re short on time to prepare something, and short of ingredients, most of it comes from the cupboard.

Put the sweet potatoes on first as they take longest to bake: peel and chop into chips, drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper and paprika. Bake on 190 for 35 mins. Put the cod in after 10-15 mins.

1) leave frozen cod to thaw slightly until you can slice it into 3 or 4 pieces.

2) whisk an egg and roll the fish in it. Then roll in breadcrumbs (I use paxo just because it’s more convenient!).

3) bake on 190 for 20-25 minutes.

4) pop some frozen peas in a pan of boiling water for 5 min.

Sploodge on some Heinz TK and enjoy.
