I always seem to make chilli or spag bol with a pack of mince, but today I decided to go for homemade burgers instead. Based sort of on this Hairy Bikers recipe with a few additions and missing ingredients. Tasted delish. Once again, feta reigns supreme!

1) Put mince in a mixing bowl with: grind of black pepper, dried basil, dried thyme, dried sage, 2 minced garlic gloves, a good sploodge of tomato puree.

2) Bring mince together into 4 equal sized separate patties. Place on on tin foil on a baking tray and oven for 30 mins at 180 degrees C. Or fry them if you prefer.

3) Serve up with potato wedges and sweet potato wedges (par boil chopped potato wedges, add to a bowl with chopped sweet potato non par boiled, drizzle with olive oil, black pepper and salt, oven cook for 40 mins on 180 degrees C or til your desired level or crispiness).

4) I loaded up my burger with spinach, sliced tomato, feta and avocado.

Got one leftover for lunch tomorrow. Very happy indeed!
