Slightly crackers portion size, but with steak, who caaaares?

1) Make sure steak is left out the fridge for 30 mins before cooking.

2) Put 2 portabello mushrooms on baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with rosemary, add feta and cherry tomatoes. Oven for 5 min on 180-200 degrees C, grill for 5 min.

3) Rub steak with olive oil and plenty of fabulous black pepper.

4) Put oil in frying pan, turn heat up, wait for it to smoke, put steak in, put garlic clove in. Wait 2 minutes (I use the timer on my phone) and turn over. Add knob of butter if feeling cheeky and baste steak in it, rub garlic on steak as well. Take out after 2 mins and rest the meat before plating. (This is medium-rare, no more cooking needed IMHO or you’ll ruin the meat #thankscows).

5) Serve up with faithful brocolli.
